Cute, right? Hehe. That is me and eheemm... (I don't know who is he.) Haha.
Assalamu’alaikum wbt and hello everyone.

Assignments are overload! And time flew so fast! As for my laziness, it is not getting less. It’s getting more and more. Seriously, I am a lazy girl! I need to change that! For the sake of my life.

Haaahh. The class is held as usual. Huhu. But this time just like the past two weeks, it was held in Monday at 3.30 pm. And also this time, both two groups were asked to combine in one class session because our beloved Dr. Fariza has to attend a meeting at 11.00 am. So the first group has to conduct a class the same time as the second group. Haha. More people, the merrier.  Hehe. Today’s class is also special because it’s raining heavily. So it feels cold! And we were freezing that time in the laboratory. Haha.

Okay, back to business. Always with the business. Haha. Of course laa. Ok, today, Dr. Fariza told us to do a video regarding the topic we searched. To do the video, she taught us to make a perfect video. So a video must contain five elements. These elements are AUDIO, ANIMATION (moving image), TEXT, GRAPHIC, and VIDEO itself.

So, she gave us about 10 minutes and over to do search the information about these elements and paste the link of article to GE1155’s Weebly. The findings may be in form of articles, videos, slide, a talk or what so ever. I am so excited about this. This is a simple task for me.

I searched it and I am the first one who posted information about this topic at Weebly. So, it’s like it was me who started the topic. Hehe.  Excited bha. Hehe. Credits to me~

Ermm… Then, I have a short conversation with Dr. Fariza about my study. She is so concern not only with me but with all her students. She asked me whether I am okay or not with my studies. I think she knew that I am having a little, ermm, not little, but big problems with this course. So, when she asked me that, I felt a little bit relieved because at least I knew that there is someone out there who is concern about my well-being. I am so touched! Thank you Dr. Fariza. Love you. By the way, I never told you this. Your face is like my sister in-law. The first time I saw you in our first meeting, I thought you were my sister in-law. Haha. Whenever I recalled that moment, I laughed alone. Haha.

I think this is all for today’s class. Hehe. Ok, assalamu’alaikum wbt. Good day peeps!
:) :) :) :) :)

dumbfounded by the technology

Assalamu’alaikum wbt and hello everyone.

Another day, another nickel. That’s what Spongebob Squarepants said. And also another day, another new things to explore. Hehe. So, I woke up early today not just because I have morning classes but I feel very extra energetic today. Yeah right. I hope it will last for the whole day. Hope so.

As usual, I have Language Learning Strategies at 8 and today’s class in full of discussions and bilabial connection between our beloved Prof Amin and my friends. It’s quite interesting actually that you don’t have to fully listen to lecturers to babble and babble. I am a person who love discussions and forums but not the one who active in it. I just love for just being a silent listener. A saying said that, we have two ears and a mouth. Listen more and talk less. Hehe.

And also yesterday, November 16th was my birthday and I received a great birthday experience by my friends and I’m very delightful about it. Seriously, nobody throw flour at my birthday before and what they have done is so funny and so sweet and made my day. Hehe.

Ok, back to our business. After finishing LLS class, my friends and I decided to go back to Za’ba because our group for Computer class is at 3 pm so we got plenty of time to relax and maybe do our assignments. But I knew that my friends had planned to sleep. Hehe. So do I. I need some rest ok. Lazy bumps.

Ok, today’s computer class as usual, I learnt new things and we called it wonders in technology. This is because we got so dumbfounded and amazed when we discover new things from our computer. Magic! Poof! Haha. It is obvious that we are not good in using technology. There are too many we didn’t explore yet.  I hope we get it soon in this class.

To be honest, at first I found this class’s so boring and just a waste of time. But, time has changed it. Every moment of this class, I learnt new things, new tools in our computer from our lecturer, Dr. Fariza. And for today I learnt about how to evaluate and calculate our findings on previous lesson about Open Source Software. As you may know, we have conduct a survey using Google form and by that we don’t have to calculate our data manually as Google Form has prepared the calculation for users. So simple and way too cool.

Other than that, we learnt how to do analysis about our data collection. There are two ways to do analysis and that are descriptive analysis (demography) and inferentiate statistics (mean). Ok, on this part, I don’t really understand much. Sorry.

Then, we learnt how to do a table of content using a simple way! We just discovered it! Why right now? Ah, better late than never. Using navigation pane, we just put what are the topics we include in our report and automatically, the software in the Microsoft Word will do the rest! We can edit it also in a simpler way. We don’t have to scroll down or up our report on MW many times. That’s the magic I’m talking about. We got stunned and really don’t expect this from our computer!

Ah, I got so excited writing this. Really I am. Allah SWT gave me such knowledge to make my work simpler. I’m so touched. AlhamduliLlah. I’m thankful and grateful to Him.

And I wanted to tell this to my readers (if I got readers, Haha) that I really enjoy learning in this class although I got tired sometimes because I love to sleep every afternoon after ‘Asr. But it’s okay. Allah has granted me with another kindness in term of knowledge. So I still look forward to Dr. Fariza’s class. :)

Smile. Thank you. :)

This is the front page of Windows Publisher ^_^
Assalamu’alaikum wbt and hello everyone. Today I’m in a good and blissful mood. It is because today, I’m going to receive a present from Prof Amin (Language Learning Strategy) for my slide presentation. So I’m excited despite I got many assignments waiting for me. Hehe. Try to enjoy with that. As for my present, I got a book written by Prof Amin. It’s about Web 2.0. Although it is not in my favourite book list, I am very happy for that. Really, thanks to you, dear Prof Amin.

Actually, after his class, I have no class and got to relax and unwind my tension. For some reason and circumstances, Dr Fariza, our Computer in Education professor, have to make a substitution class on Monday. We were not having a problem with that honestly, instead we were happy because we can relax and we got to spend our time on our assignments. Err.. I think that’s not relaxing at all. We have to complete our assignments because it’s already week nine and all our assignments we have to submit them on week 14. So still remain 5 weeks more until we submit our assignments. Lucky for Lyn, she has completed her first big assignment on Teaching Profession. So she can move on to the next assignments. I need to learn from her. Seriously meh. T____T

There is something new from our Computer in Education class today. Something that, for me it is very meaningful and awake me from my long sleep, also change my perception. In what? Hehe. Stay on to this Ok?

Ok, as usual, our lesson on that Monday is about, Microsoft Publisher. What is Microsoft Publisher? I can’t find the right meaning of it. But what can I explain is that to make our own business card, brochure, greeting cards, banners, postcards, newsletters, flyers and catalogues we can use Microsoft Publisher to do it so. These are one of the applications offered by Microsoft. Free ok. Hehe. So, we were asked to create a brochure of ours about our findings. My group’s topic is about Open Source Software and ICT in Learning.

At first we got so excited to know that this kind of application exists in our own laptop! Yes, for me I am excited. Huhu. And I believe my friends also feel the same way as I am. So after finding out the application, we try to make our own brochure while Dr. Fariza asked anyone who have the problems with their questionnaires. We have to do it in Google Form.

My group try to make a brochure but then the themes prepared in the app are so not up-to-date and for us the themes are not pretty and attracting. So we decided to create our own brochure later when we have downloaded new beautiful themes. Excited really!

Ok, this is the serious part. Dr. Fariza reminded us about the reflections. She said that she has checked our reflections but she is very disappointed with us because some of us haven’t complete reflections in our Weebly yet. She said that we have to do reflections every week so that in the end, when the final exams are announced and we got low marks, the reflections will help us to get extra marks. Maybe we got B or C in final exam, but with the help of our reflections that we have done, lecturers will consider in giving extra to our marks to make it an A. It’s very helping. So she reminded us to always to reflections.

And, she said that, we have to change our paradigm and perception about the word ‘NO CLASS’. Actually, a few weeks before, we got no class because she had to attend for a seminar in Japan and another week, something came up and she had to settle it. So the thing is, the class is not cancel, although she was not around and we should to go to the class because she hope that we learn something from that day although she is not with us in the class.

Smile, thank you. :)

shaky presentations

Assalamu'alaikum and hello everyone.

Today is the day. Hmm.. My hands start shaky. Aigoo. I am not so good in presenting or lecturing in front of class. Yet, I am a teacher-to-be. Hmm. I don't have the confidence. Furthermore, my English is bad and not that smooth. Hmm. How laa...

Then I like, arghh, just do it. No big deal, insyaAllah. Hmm. Luckily I got my friends who are always at my back supporting me. Hehe. So, it's kinda relief then.

Ermm... Then, I just go with the flow. Presenting, although I know no one of my friends understand what I'm saying that time. Hmm.. Sad for a teacher-to-be. I need to polish my speaking and general speaking. I have to. So that I won't be that shaky girl anymore. InsyaAllah.

Ok, I am so proud of having friends who are very good in presenting their work. I am so amazed with Lyn, Becca and Veen's works. Not forgot, credits to Fatin Kamilia and Natasya. These people are too good bha. Opps, Sabahan. Haha. But seriously they are good!

I hope to learn something from them and make them as an example in my student life. Hehe. Hope so laa. Hehe.

Allahumma Rabbi Yasseer wala Tu'asseer. Ameen. :)

Smile, thank you. :)
